MUCC’s 150th anniversary celebrations will reach their pinnacle on 23 December with two Twenty20 games featuring some very prominent former MUCCers. James Sutherland, Ian Botham, Jim Higgs, Paul Sheahan and cricket correspondent Greg Baum are among the MUCCers on the invite list. And county cricketers Paul McMahon and David Alleyne have been charged with the responsibility of bringing the Barmy Army down to Uni Main.

Six new MUCCers helped the club record four wins out of five this week against Camberwell and Reds. Matt Marshall, Michael Nalesnyik, Russell Marks, Anthul Vijay, Matt Keily and Lincoln Loi helped the 2s and 4s both win by 52 runs, and the 3s and MCA A graders win by 7 and 9 wickets respectively
