On the final day of our home Intervarsity match against Sydney University, we were graced with a visit by batting supremo Sachin Tendulkar.
Tendulkar spent an hour and a half at the University with coach Dan Lowery (left), captain Brendan Joseland and cricket director Charles Sutherland.
After watching the early stages of our flamboyant batting pursuit of an outright Intervarsity win, Tendulkar went to the University Engineering faculty where he was presented with a Sir Donald Bradman lithograph for his services to cricket and sportsmanship. |
