The only MUCCer in action this weekend will be curator
Len Robbins, with his superb work on Uni Main being
rewarded with the club hosting the 4th XI grand final
between Melbourne and Ringwood.
Easter Sunday was a dark day for the club with the 1s,
3s and 4s all being knocked out. Brad Pell was the only
batsman to make a half-century and Nick Ellsmore and
Andre Habchi were the only bowlers to take three wickets.
The club’s attention will now turn to its presentation
night on Friday 27 May at University Boat Club in Boathouse
Drive and to its next business breakfast on Thursday
21 July.
Media personality Jim Wilson will host the Ashes breakfast,
which will feature former MUCC Test players Paul Sheahan
and Jim Higgs. Email breakfast@mucc.info for details
of the big event. |
