The Victorian Emerging Players squad to tour England in June and play against the MCC and the Duke of Norfolk’s XI will have a MUCCer on board.
Our left-arm quick Nick Williams will be guided through the tour by coach Greg Shipperd and manager Shaun Graf.
His games other than those at Lord’s and Arundel Castle will be against the Nottinghamshire, Gloucestershire and Hampshire 2nd XIs.
Williams played his 50th first XI game in our qualifying final with Camberwell and has best bowling of 5/36 against Melbourne.
Nick’s younger brother Tom also plays for the club. Both are likely to be at the club’s presentation night on Friday 27 May from 7pm at the Melbourne University Boat Club on Boathouse Drive.
SEN Radio personality and MUCC 2nd XI captain Hugh Van Cuylenburg will be master of ceremonies.
